Darin was participating in the Art Li Beirut Online Auction with her painting Nature (Thicket) 3 supporting an initiative which is trying to help the victims of the 4th of August 2020 explosion in Beirut, which has damaged more than 20.000 homes. Darin is selected for the 2019 edition of Woman’s Essence Show concomitant event of Official Pavilion of 58th Biennale di Venezia and will be awarded with WAA Woman Art Award 2019. Darin is currently looking for sponsors to participate in the final group exhibition May 10-19, 2019.

Darin’s art was shown in the city center of Berlin from January 2017 to May 2019. The office of Kiron Open Higher Education hosted Darin’s paintings at Palais am Festungsgraben, Am Festungsgraben 1, 10117 Berlin, Germany.
Darin was in London on Monday, 13 February 2017 for the opening of the exhibition Radical Love: Female Lust (14 February till 5 March 2017). The exhibition moved to Dublin, Ireland from 10th – 26th November 2017 and was shown at GalleryX.
The International Selection Committee examined Darin’s work and curriculum, and expressed its favourable opinion about her participation in the XIth Florence Biennale eARTh: Creativity & Sustainability, 6th – 15th October 2017 which will take place in Florence, Italy. Paintings of Darin Ahmad were on exhibition at the German Ambassador’s Residence in London, UK. The exhibition „Two Faces“ presented the work of Frances Blane and Darin Ahmad from July 2016 to January 2017.
Darin was in London on Wednesday, 25 January 2017 for the Finissage of the exhibition „Two Faces“ at 34 Belgrave Square, London. A guided tour beside a discussion with both artists will be conducted by the art consultant Kristiane Backer. (Participation on invitation)
The Open Day of the exhibition „Two Faces“ at the German Embassy London was conducted on 30th November 2016.
„Al-Arab Newspaper“ published an article about Darin in their edition of 9th September 2016.
Public Reading of Darin’s poems in German and Arabic language on 6th October 2016 at „Literaturwerkstatt Berlin“. The event „In der Sprache zu Hause in Berlin: VERSschmuggel arabisch-deutsch“ was presented by „Haus für Poesie“.

On Saturday, 17th September 2016, Darin was reading her poems in Arabic at the „Hoffest zur Poesie“ at Kulturbrauerei in Berlin. Furthermore Darin’s poems were translated and presented in German language.
